Then our doula Jolene started and she was a godsend! She was so wonderful with our baby and provided SO much support for me, and was even fabulous with our spirited toddler who fell in love with her too. It's a big deal to have someone you don't know take care of your newborn overnight. Jolene is an extremely caring, compassionate person and I feel like she truly cared about me and my baby. A MAJOR plus about Jolene is that she actually stays awake and watches your baby overnight. I think this is rare for overnight doula care.
