Then our doula Jolene started and she was a godsend! She was so wonderful with our baby and provided SO much support for me, and was even fabulous with our spirited toddler who fell in love with her too. Our toddler would wake up early before school just to say hello for a few minutes. I would too frankly; Jolene's sweet and positive attitude is infectious. It's a big deal to have someone you don't know take care of your newborn overnight. Jolene is an extremely caring, compassionate person and I feel like she truly cared about me and my baby. A MAJOR plus about Jolene is that she actually stays awake and watches your baby overnight. I think this is rare for overnight doula care.
